2021 Highlights: A Year of TerraQuest

January can be a gloomy month, it's cold and it’s dark, but it’s also a chance for a fresh start. Here at TerraQuest, we are very much looking forward to the year ahead. New goals, new plans, new events, and new webinars. But, before we do that, we want to share all of our favourite bits from 2021.

In September, TerraQuest’s Jonathan Fincher exhibited at Design London. The show welcomed more than 12,000 visitors, connecting architects, interior designers, specifiers, and more with some of the world's leading brands. On Saturday the 4th September, Tony Pratt completed a trek of over 14 miles in the Brecon Beacons, all in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. Anyone who has ever climbed Pen y Fan will know that this is no small feat!

In October, we found ourselves at one of the largest and busiest care events in the UK, The Care Show. At this event, Julius and Cameron showed off our DBS checking solution, AuthentiQuest. As you can see in the picture, they were very busy, gave many demos and met some brilliant people.

November was a busy month for the TerraQuest team. At the beginning of November, TerraQuest’s Julius Rwegasira, partnered up with uComply to attend The Cleaning Show. Jules met some fantastic people and shared the benefits of using our pre-employment checking solution.

On November the 24th, we had the pleasure of sponsoring the Local Government Annual Conference, “Councils Make It Happen”. The event was hosted by broadcaster and political journalist Jayne McCormack and was the first Local Government Conference since Covid restrictions first began. Our CEO, Geoff Keal, and CCO Director, Craig Harper enjoyed the event thoroughly.

On November the 17th - 18th, TerraQuest partnered up with the Planning Portal and attended London Build. London Build is an award-winning show and is widely viewed as one of the best exhibitions in the world. Craig, Jonathan, and Ian took this opportunity to discuss our Planning Application Services, Site and Location Plans, Snaptrude, and Planning Market Insight report.

Friday the 10th of December saw many of us take part in Christmas Jumper Day. In addition to the lovely selection of festive knits to brighten our meetings, we also managed to raise over £300 for Save the Children.

Overall, 2021 was a great year for TerraQuest. However, we want to make 2022 our best year yet. If you would like to keep up-to-date with upcoming events and news, please sign up for our newsletter. Alternatively, you can follow us on social media using the links below or visit our news page.

I hope you enjoyed this article. We would love to hear what our reader's highlights were for 2021. Please comment your favourite events for the year so we can see them.
