Planning Portal team are out and about

Following 18 months with very little face-to-face contact, the Planning Portal team are beginning to get out and about, attending a variety of events throughout autumn and winter.

Where we have been:

September saw the team at their first physical events since the beginning of the pandemic. Ian Foster, Business Development Manager at Planning Portal, and Jonathan Fincher, Business Development Manager at TerraQuest attended the Built Environments Ltd’s Midlands Development Conference held at the Coventry Building Society Arena, where they were demonstrating ReQuestaPlan, TerraQuest’s site, and location plan software.

On the same day Sarah Chilcott, Managing Director at Planning Portal, packed a couple of events in. She started her morning taking part in the UKPA Roundtable: Leveraging PropTech for Digitised Planning. The discussion focused on exploring the role of the PropTech community within the planning reforms, how we can improve engagement between the private sector and public sector to speed up digital transformation, and barriers to implementing digital technology solutions.

That evening, Sarah joined the Federation of Master Builders, along with their members, MPs and industry colleagues to celebrate their eightieth birthday in their parliamentary reception at the House of Lords.

At the end of the month, Ian represented the Planning Portal along with the Business Development team at TerraQuest at the Design London event, where they launched TerraQuest’s new design software Snaptrude. You can find out more about the new software here.
