TerraQuest delivers Planning Application and Enforcement services to Local Authorities either via long term contracts or short term on demand services.
Through a working partnership with the Local Authority TerraQuest supplies an adaptable service which is individually tailored to the clients needs. The service is designed to reduce time and cost taken to submit, process and approve Planning Applications while enhancing the applicant’s experience.
Planning Application Services:
Planning Application Validation Service (PAVS) – Our PAVS validates electronic and paper Planning Applications against national and local planning policies and directly uploads them into the Local Authorities back office system or the Planning Portal. Typical Service Level Agreements are 95% of valid Planning Applications uploaded within 24 hours.
Planning Capacity Services – We provide services to Local Planning Authorities for deployment of highly experienced and qualified Planning Officers to complete the evaluation and determination process from validation through to decision. This service can either be as a full outsource service or as a top-up service where we provide additional resources to either flexibly cover local short-falls in staffing, or to recover a backlog of outstanding applications
Planning Application End-to-End Service - We provide long term partnership contracts with Local Authorities to deliver an end-to-end Planning Application processing service; from providing pre-application advice, technical validation, checking consultee identification, evaluation of applications, delivery of planning reports and offering post application advice. TerraQuest delivers a cost effective and bespoke service to each Local Authority.
Planning Enforcement Service - TerraQuest is able to offer experienced and qualified Enforcement Officers to help Local Authorities keep on top of or help clear backlogs in Enforcement.
Business Process Services - TerraQuest has worked with over 40 clients improving their Planning services through Planning and Validation business process improvement projects. The focus has been to improve the service provided to customers, through the design and implementation of an efficient and effective process for the Case Officer and the Planning Authority. These projects resulted in both improved operational performance and reduced service delivery costs.
TerraQuest’s Planning services are formed on a transactional commercial model per Planning Application and delivered through Service Level Agreements to meet Local Authority needs and regulatory requirements.
